Purenature: a natural partnership
What do you need when your children colour BiMoo educational tablecloths with washable markers day after day? A good laundry detergent! From this need, the partnership between BiMoo and Purenature was born.
"As mom and entrepreneur, I can truly say that Purenature laundry detergent is wonderful. After a good wash, no trace of marker is left on my tablecloths. And for those stubborn spaghetti sauce stains, the stain remover works wonders,” says Julie Blais, president of BiMoo.
The environment as a top priority
Most of the cleaning products we have at home contain ingredients that are harmful to our health and to the environment. Purenature, for its part, has designed a range of products made with ingredients from natural sources that clean thoroughly.
In fact:
- Pine oil cleans;
- Lemon degreases;
- Orange dissolves;
- Baking soda deodorizes;
- Natural minerals scrub;
- Coconut softens the skin;
- Essential oils add fragrance.
To counter the overconsumption of plastic, Purenature offers bulk biodegradable products in many pharmacies and grocery stores across Quebec. Bulk refilling saves customers 25% every time they reuse their bottles. Plus, all empty 20-litre containers are returned to the factory to be sanitized and reused at the various points of sale. Hooray for zero waste!
The environment is also one of the core values for BiMoo, whose tablecloths are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. This accreditation guarantees that each component (fabric, print and thread) has been tested and does not contain any harmful substances.
Products made by Quebecers for Quebecers
Purenature products are made in Quebec at Total Fabrication, in Saint-Alexandre-de-Kamouraska, on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. It is the first Canadian company to be Ecocert engagement climat certified. This accreditation confirms that the company has implemented a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as well as a sustainable development policy.
Once again, BiMoo and Purenature’s values come together. All educational tablecloths are illustrated by Quebec artists. There is so much talent here at home; why look elsewhere? Discover the artists and their creations:
- Mylène Villeneuve: Alphabet, Transport, Safety
- PisHier: Emotions
- Carolane Lachaine: Fantasy
- Irène Lumineau: Vegetables
- Rémy Simard: Jungle
- Étienne Taillefer: The Animal Walk
- Geneviève Tardif: Sea
- Isabelle Charbonneau: Professions, Numbers with dinosaurs
- Julie Blais (yes, the BiMoo president is also an artist!): Farm, Mandala, Countryside Landscape, Christmas and Yoga
Now more than ever, Quebec companies need to stick together and forge partnerships with one another. BiMoo is happy to count on Purenature as a proud partner, a company that shares the same environmental values and also promotes local products.
