BiMoo gets involved with Opération Enfant Soleil
Last April, over the Easter weekend, I was profoundly touched by an Opération Enfant Soleil ad. How can a child in perfect health become sick from one day to the next? Illness does not discriminate and can affect anyone, at any time.
The beginning of a beautiful adventure
That’s when I had a flash: I wanted to contribute to this cause I care deeply about, in my own way. But what could I do, as a new entrepreneur, compared to RE/MAX, Familiprix and Telus?
I asked myself, "What have I got to lose? Nothing!” So I wrote to the head of sponsorship requests, explaining that I could not offer money, but still wanted to contribute. She got back to me in less than 48 hours. Wow! And what can I say about the incredible meeting that followed...
Last June, BiMoo gave a bilingual educational tablecloth and personalized letter to all 17 ambassador families during the telethon. It was an excellent start!
But it didn’t stop there!
Shortly after the telethon, my cousin Éric, president of the company Amigest, contacted me. He too wanted to participate and give back. He suggested that I create a safety-themed educational tablecloth.
The theme was an obvious choice, directly related to the missions of both Opération Enfant Soleil and Amigest. The latter designs solutions that facilitate taking attendance, as well as the management and optimization of early childhood education establishments.
A tablecloth that generates reactions
- Always cross the street on the pedestrian signal or with an adult.
- Do not talk to strangers.
- Always swim in the presence of an adult.
- Playing with fire is dangerous.
That’s just a sample of what you’ll find on the tablecloth. Since its launch in November, it has generated a ton of questions from children and sparked wonderful discussions between parents and educators.
Mutual support at the core of BiMoo's values
For each tablecloth sold, 15% of the sale will go to Opération Enfant Soleil. Among other things, this money will be used to:
- Purchase operating equipment adapted to babies and children;
- Ensure that sick, premature or injured children in rural areas can find care close to home;
- Provide access to welcoming and efficient major pediatric centres that treat children, no matter their condition.
A tablecloth with multiple benefits

This tablecloth, created specifically for Opération Enfant Soleil, not only facilitates the learning of several safety rules, it also helps stimulate children for whom mealtime is a difficult experience.
The tablecloth is also eco-friendly, made from 100% recycled polyester. Wonderful for the environment and easy to wash!
To top it off, BiMoo also encourages local talent. In fact, the safety tablecloth was illustrated by Quebec artist Mylène Villeneuve.
You can get your very own safety tablecloth today. The total raised will be donated at the next telethon in June.
